Muhammad Zahier read law in the UK and obtained his LLB (Hons) from UWE, Bristol. He was called to the bar of England and Wales in 2017 and participated in the online mediation course with ADR ODR International during the same year. He returned to Malaysia thereafter and commenced his pupillage with Messrs Rosli Kamaruddin & Co and was called to the bar in Malaysia in 2019. He is now the legal associate with the firm.
His portfolio covers both criminal and civil litigation. He is instrumental in assisting Tn Haji Rosli Kamaruddin for various contentious matters and was entrusted to personally handle 50 over briefs at the firm during his first two years of practice.
As to date, his experience in litigation include land matters (fraudulent claims, land acquisition), defamation, contractual disputes, offences under the Penal Code, AMLAFTA, immigration and drug offences.
He is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and the Malaysian bar. He currently serve as the Chairperson of the Johore Bar Human Rights Sub-Committees for the term 2020/2021.
